Hello #Meshies, old and new! With so much going on behind the scenes we’ve neglected you all when it comes to these longer reads and updates here on our blog (Medium). That said, you know we aren’t about that fluff and worthless news, we prefer to speak when we have something to say.
So, in this brief article we’ll be updating you all on 4 key areas we’ve been focused on recently;

1. Our Mesh Chat app development progress:
To us, it’s important to get as many people as possible to learn about MESH, its mesh network and chat app, and to build trust in it. So, we’ve taken the next steps in rolling out our mesh chat app for iOS and Android smart devices by finalising our development of both apps.
We’re now in the final stages of testing, bug fixing and making small design tweaks to our apps. Thereafter we’ll be looking to launch the apps on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store very soon.
Our software development partner is a market leader in providing custom web and mobile solutions, and they’re locally-based too — this is something very important to us as we strive to build up other South African companies.
Scope Outline and Deliverables
Our iOS and Android mobile applications will use and create mesh networks with surrounding smart devices to send messages and data to one another, both on- and offline.
By using a Bluetooth enabled mesh network, data is passed between devices without cell reception, data or WiFi. However, we will enable the ability to connect with other users via these systems should you be in range.
2. Liquidity on Uniswap:
Never let it be said that we don’t listen to and respect our community of #Meshies! You wanted liquidity on Uniswap as an additional trading option and we gave it to you.
We added $35k ETH and $35k in MESH to Uniswap liquidity earlier this week and will be adding more soon.
Our token volume spiked up 26000% on Uniswap this week after we added liquidity to the MESH/ETH pool, marking that day as our biggest volume day yet in our 3-year history.
As some of you have heard, we are currently working with Binance Africa to add MESH onto Binance Smart Chain so that we can unlock new trading liquidity and markets for our community. We’re very excited about this and will keep you up to date on our progress.
3. Recent token price:
Besides the record-setting day for volume mentioned above, our token price also appreciated massively after we released V2 of our Android chat app to the community for testing. After months of waiting, and a year or so of promises, we were finally able to deliver a tangible, working product that does what it says on the tin — cost-free communication.
Since then, the MESH price went up 5500% over the last 2 months.
With such bullish results over such a relatively short period of time, we’re so excited to reveal our plans for our apps, business, and more. Token price sure isn’t everything but it does wonders for building awareness around our project!
4. Investment opportunities into partners in our industry:
We can’t reveal too much just yet, but, we are in the process of investing in a highly targeted next-generation mobile advertising B2B2C platform for emerging markets that reward users’ attention with free data and calls. In a country and continent (Africa) that has some of the highest data cost per capita, you can imagine how this could change the game for a mobile-first society like our own.
Our significant cause is to solve some of emerging markets most pressing social challenges and our mission is to provide a tangible impact to 60 million customers in 4 years — making it a phenomenal ESG/impact platform too. Technological advances continue at unprecedented rates, and whilst these technologies can solve a myriad of social challenges, many people in disadvantaged communities simply cannot access them given the high cost of data and their lack of a Smartphone. Our mission is to change this.
Our combination of software (Phase 1), hardware (Phase 2), and blockchain (Phase 3), as well as our ability to act in an area that needs these solutions the most — Africa — is driving this product offering.
